The DayTrippers GameMasters Guide - a review by David GuyllDavid Guyll, co-creator of A Sundered World, has written a review of the DayTrippers GameMasters Guide on his blog, Points of Light. He and co-author Melissa Fisher do seem to be quite pleased with the Generators and narrative structure systems. |

Framework Discussion on Misdirected MarkIn the Nov 4 Misdirected Mark podcast, Phil and Chris talked about adventure frameworks and gave a nod to the DayTrippers Core Rules. Sounds like they were impressed with the shared mission design rules, and they also talked a bit about the scenario framework in the collab/narr version of the game. I can't wait until they read the DayTrippers GameMasters Guide and blow their misdirected minds! Mwahaha! http://misdirectedmark.com/mmp180-frameworks/ |

Legends of Tabletop InterviewOn October 21st, DayTrippers designer/author Tod Foley (that's me!) was the guest on the Legends of Tabletop podcast. The conversation included some of the "hybrid" techniques used in the game, including the YES/NO/AND/BUT action resolution system, progressive character generation, and the stance of the DayTrippers GM midway between trad and narrativism. |

Written by Tod Foley (creator of CyberSpace, Ghosts in the Machine, and Watch the World Die) the DayTrippers Gamemasters Guide blends modern and traditional gamemastering techniques with the random input of oracular systems and the spontaneously-generative approach of surrealist art. Each adventure is designed to last a single session and return the PCs back to Earth, with the pacing of a short story or television episode.
